Personality:
Lilly is beautiful, rich, popular and she knows it. She's one of those girls that other girls aspire to be and she exploits that fact when she can. She also loves boys and loves the fact that boys love her.
When choosing a public relationship, she'll only date the best. The best looking, the wealthiest and the most popular. When choosing a sexual partner, she's not quite as picky, actually, the more likely the person will piss off her parents, the better.
To those she considers friends, she's kind. She likes to take on a big sister role to her friends and teach them how to look, act and dress like she does. To those who cross her, she's extremely vindictive, whether it's a girl who made out with her boyfriend or someone who merely badmouthed her.
In her mind, money equals power. She uses her father's name to get her out of any sort of trouble. Too bad that the same doesn't work with her parents, maybe then she wouldn't be so rebellious.
History:
The summer before his senior year at Neptune High, Jake Kane was involved in an on-again, off-again relationship with Lianne Reynolds. Despite their rocky start, they were together for good by homecoming. They were a dream couple. The couple. Everyone thought they would get married, but sometimes even a dream romance doesn't work out the way everyone planned.
During one of his times apart from Lianne, Jake dated Celeste Conathan. When Celeste realized that she had lost Jake forever, she told Jake that she was pregnant. Her family was moving out of the school district and she wanted to find a way to break up Jake and Lianne for good. And it worked. Whether or not Celeste was actually pregnant, no one would know. When she turned up for prom, there was no baby.
After high school, Jake and Celeste remained a steady couple throughout college they married right after. During their first year of marriage, Jake worked to build up his software company. By their second year, Kane Software went public. That very day, Jake made a billion dollars. Everyone who worked for him, right down to the secretarial pool became millionaires.
This paved the way for their children to grow up as the wealthiest children in Neptune. A blessing and a curse.
Another year into the success of Kane Software, Celeste gave birth to their first (or maybe second) child, Lilly Celeste Kane. Lilly wasn't an only child for long, as it was only a year later that her brother, Duncan, was born.
Growing up was bittersweet for Lilly. Because of her family's wealth, she got basically everything she wanted. She was also involved in voice, dance and baton twirling as well as other classes. It became obvious at a young age, however, that Lilly was not the favored child.
She would often say that her parents loved Duncan and tolerated her, though at times she wasn't even sure that tolerance covered it. Anytime the two siblings got into trouble, Lilly was immediately to blame, even if it was Duncan's idea. In his defense, he would try to tell their parents the truth, but they never listened.
By high school, Lilly began acting out. She'd do things to intentionally anger her parents, anything she could think of that they wouldn't like. The most notable is her sexual promiscuity. Any time she was separated from her on-again, off-again boyfriend since junior high, Logan Echolls, she would end up sleeping with other boys--and sometimes men. Some of which carefully chosen for the sole knowledge that it would anger her parents greatly if they knew she was sleeping with them.
Eli "Weevil" Navarro was one of these. Unlike Lilly, Weevil was from the wrong side of the tracks. He was a poor hispanic who also happened to be the leader of the PCH biker gang. She slept with him a few times, and even promised him she wouldn't go back to Logan. She didn't count on him falling in love with her.
She returned to Logan once again, only to recieve letters from Weevil talking about his feelings for her and how he felt about her leaving him. She felt it was verging on stalking her and she got transferred out of his gym class to get away from him.
The last time Lilly and Logan broke up, Lilly's best friend, Veronica had caught him kissing another girl. To get bck at Logan, she began sleeping with his movie star father. Little did she know that would turn disastrous.
After finding sex tapes Aaron made of them, Lilly stole them and hid them away in her air vents (her mother was incredibly nosy so anything she didn't want Celeste to find, she hid there) then went out to the pool to tan. Aaron followed her home and came out to the pool to confront her. The confrontation turned deadly when he took a ceramic ash tray and hit her on the side of the head with it. It killed her instantly and he threw the ash tray into the pool before running off to not be seen near the body.
In-Game History:
Lilly grew up in a wealthy and overly-doting family. There were times, many times actually, that Lilly felt that she had no privacy whatsoever. Her parents demanded family game nights and they always had dinner as a family. To go out on a dinner ate usually took a lot of arguing before her parents would reluctantly agree.
Lilly's acting out began as a way to push her parents away. She'd come home from school too late for dinner, sneak out of her window in the middle of the night and climb down the trellis to get away and sneak off with boys, and she would sleep with anyone (male or female) just to anger her parents.
In her school life, Lilly was very popular, especially with the boys. She made the cheerleading squad in her freshman year because she needed a "pep outlet." The only thing she ever did to please her parents was get into school politics. It's not something she enjoys, but it's something to keep her parents off her back to an extent. Too bad it's not enough.
